Provision of the website and creation of log files
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected:
  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • The user's operating system
  • The user's internet service provider
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the user's system accesses our website
  • Websites that are accessed by the user's system via our website

The log files contain IP addresses or other data that enable an assignment to a user. This could be the case, for example, if the link to the website from which the user accesses the website or the link to the website to which the user switches contains personal data. The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. DALGON would not be able to establish a reference to your person without involving your provider. You can therefore use the website "anonymously".

Purpose of data processing:
Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. We also use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is not analyzed for marketing purposes in this context.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the accessing client.
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no option to object.

Use of cookies
When you visit the websites, so-called cookies are stored on your computer, depending on the area. Cookies are small text files in which the provider of a website stores relevant data in order to facilitate surfing on the website. Such a cookie cannot be read by any website other than the one that placed the cookie. DALGON does not store any of your personal data in the cookies. The maximum lifespan of the cookie is 90 days. After this period, they are automatically deleted. A new cookie is set each time you visit the website. If a cookie exists, the information is updated. This corresponds to deleting and resetting the cookie.

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For these, it is necessary for the browser to be recognized even after a page change.

Analysis cookies are used for the purpose of improving the quality of our website and its content. Through the analysis cookies, we learn how the website is used and can thus constantly optimize our offer.

Advertising cookies are used for the purpose of presenting you with customized advertisements.

When accessing our website, users are informed by an info banner about the use of cookies.

How can I manage cookies?
As an Internet user, you can decide for yourself whether you want to accept cookies or block them completely. We can no longer guarantee the correct display and full functionality of our website if cookies are disabled.

Cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted by it to our website. As a user, you therefore have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your Internet browser. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically.

What types of cookies do we use?
We use four types of cookies on our website: Generally required cookies, function-related cookies, performance-related cookies and advertising-related cookies.

Generally required cookies (session cookies) are used for the general use of our website. This means that certain actions performed by the user are saved. These cookies are necessary for functional navigation on the website and for the use of certain website functions. This makes it easier for the user to visit our website, as they can make optimum use of various areas of our site.
Functional cookies (session cookies) enable us to tailor our website to the personal preferences of our users.

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website

Security of your personal data when using this website
There is a contact form on our website which can be used to contact us electronically. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. The personal data that you provide to us via service functions and forms with your declaration of consent for collection, processing and use is transmitted to our computer via a secure connection in encrypted form over the Internet, stored and secured. The security procedure used here corresponds to the current state of the art (TLS or SSL). The other personal data processed during the sending process is used to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

By submitting your personal data and by confirming this privacy policy, you agree that the data you send will be stored and processed to the extent necessary for the purpose of processing and (if you wish) responding to your request. Depending on your request, it may also be necessary to forward the data to authorized third parties or to process it automatically.

Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the personal data from the input screen of the contact form and those sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified. The additional personal data collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of seven days at the latest.

The user has the option of withdrawing their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

E-mail use
E-mails that you send us via your e-mail program may be unencrypted under certain circumstances. Please check the settings in your e-mail application or ask your e-mail provider. E-mails are regularly transport-encrypted (TLS) on their way back to you. Only if transport encryption is not offered by your provider is the e-mail sent unencrypted. As a rule, however, this form of encryption is supported by your email provider.
If you also require end-to-end encryption (S/MIME) for your email communication, we will be happy to set this up for you. To configure the secure connection, please send a short e-mail to: info@dalgon.com We will then take care of the implementation without delay.
We generally recommend secure communication using our contact form on this website.
